Shielding gas sensor for monitoring protective atmosphere quality.
The SGS (Shielding Gas Sensor) monitors the quality and composition of protective shielding gas atmospheres used in heat treatment and welding applications. It provides real-time analysis of atmosphere purity, detecting contaminants that could compromise part quality, surface finish, or mechanical properties.
Integral sampling eliminates the need for a separate sampling system
Sampling flow is generated by Venturi effect using either process atmosphere or
exhaust gases, depending on the sensor’s installation location
Sensing block and electronics embedded in the same enclosure
Integrated web server with access to diagnostics, configuration, and maintenance
Optional calculation of nitriding and carbon potential for nitriding and
nitrocarburizing
Analog signals and industrial protocols available
O2 sensor and O2 sensor temperature inputs available
